Anchorage resident June Delores Caudill, 71, died Dec. 7, 1999, at the Mary Conrad Center in Anchorage from complications of diabetes. A funeral was at the Gateway Little Chapel of Chimes in Portland, Ore. Burial followed at the Willamette National Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roger A. Caudill, Galen B. Caudill, Timothy P. Caudill, Jeffrey L. Caudill and Paul Marshall.
Mrs. Caudill was born Aug. 11, 1928, in Gary, Ind. She graduated from high school and in 1944 moved to Alaska and settled in Seward. Mrs. Caudill moved to Anchorage in 1951 and to Portland in 1988. She moved back to Anchorage in 1998. She enjoyed cooking for her family, needlework and growing flowers. Her family said, ''She was a loving mother and friend who will be missed by her family and friends.''
Mrs. Caudill is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Roger A. Caudill, Galen B. Caudill, Timothy P. Caudill and Beverly Flint-Caudill of Eagle River, and Jeffrey L. Caudill; sisters, Mary Lou Marshall and Leah Estes; grandson, William A. Caudill; granddaughter, Sommer Rose Caudill; and mother-in-law, Myrtle Stallard of Ermine, Ky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Caudill, in 1971. Arrangements by Witzleben Family Funeral Homes & Crematory.
