OBITUARY OF MILLIE WHEELER

Funeral services for Millie Frances Wheeler were held April 13 at Bramer Funeral Home with Rev J Arthur Eveland of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the IOOF cemetery Brooklyn IA with the following casket bearers: Forrest Torrance Delmar Carter John Gritsch John Edelen Wallace Edelen Delmar Heishman. Organist was Mrs Ed Bartachek and flower attendants were Mr & Mrs Amos Reida and Mr & Mrs Glenn Mowrey. Mrs Millie Frances Wheeler a daughter of Mr & Mrs Josiah Bennett was born on Dec 7, 1876 in Indiana and died at the Brookhaven Nursing Home at 8;15 a.m. Tuesday April 11 at the age of 95 years 4 months and 5 days. She had spent her entire life in the Brooklyn Community. She was married to Noble G Wheeler in Hartwick IA on July 13 1897 and to this union were born seven sons and one daughter. Surviving her death are two sons: Claude Wheeler Tuscon AZ and Earl Wheeler Brooklyn IA; one daughter Mrs John Bunn Brooklyn IA; 23 grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; five sons: Dewey Wheeler; Traverse Wheeler; Herbert Wheeler; Lester Wheeler and Glen Wheeler; 3 sisters: Mrs Mina Knight; Mrs Mary Champion and Mrs Nellie Evel; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
