CHRISTINE 'TINA' R. STAUDINGER
(1917 - 2010)

Christine "Tina" R. Staudinger, age 92, of 151 Hoover St., Whitelaw, died Sunday night, Feb. 7, 2010, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center Manitowoc, surrounded by her loving family.

Christine was born on May 17, 1917, in Whitelaw, daughter of the late John and Lena (Gerl) Braun. She married Harold C. Staudinger on Oct. 29, 1941, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Whitelaw. The couple farmed in the Town of Cato moving to Clarks Mills in 1960, and later to Whitelaw. Harold preceded her in death on March 13, 2003. Christine was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clarks Mill and the Marian Council. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, cooking and listening to polka music. Tina's church and her family were the most important things in her life.

Survivors included four children and their spouses: Sandy (Jim) Brost, Cleveland; Bonnie (Gino) Panosh, Whitelaw; Bob Staudinger, Whitelaw; Tim (Kim) Staudinger, Byron, Minn.; eight grandchildren: Kevin (Kathy) Brost; Craig (Barb) Panosh; Tracy (Jeff) Summit; Spencer (Angela) Panosh; Sammy Jo Staudinger; Justin Staudinger; Logan Staudinger; Randi Staudinger; six great grandchildren: Nicole Panosh; Ryan and Dane Brost; Colton and Brady Panosh; Amaya Tremain; one sister-in-law: Bernadine Staudinger, Whitelaw; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; five sisters: Dorothy Winkler; Agnes Palmer, Martha Cych; Hildegard Fischer; Maggie Spacek; two brothers: Peter Braun; Jack Braun.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clarks Mills on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010. The Rev. Dave Zimmerman will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12 p.m.

The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is serving the Staudinger family.
