Ruby Dell (Gruber) Bronestine, 84, of Monticello, Mo. died Monday, February 15, 2010 in Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton, Mo.

The daughter of J. Melvin and Ella (Parker) Gruber was born August 13, 1925 at home in rural Canton, Mo.

She married Arthur Junior Bronestine on December 26, 1941 in Durham Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1994.

Ruby Dell attended Plano and Canton Schools and was a member of the Canton First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and with her husband were lifelong farmers.

Ruby Dell was recently honored as a lifetime member of the Canton Eagles Auxiliary 1800 for the many years of dedication, a member of the Lewis County Nursing Home Auxiliary, and volunteered at many functions held by the Monticello Fire Department. Her greatest love was family, quilting, sewing, gardening, being outdoors, fishing and riding her 4 wheeler with friends.

She is survived by two sons Lary J Bronestine & friend Nina Doran and Randy L. Bronestine & wife Mary Kaye both of Monticello, Mo. Six grandchildren, Brad (Chris) Bronestine, Kim (Alan) Morley, Lori (Doug) Green, Michelle Chris) Parrish, Darin Bronestine, and Dustin (April) Bronestine. 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; two sisters Isabel Martin and Donna Briscoe both of Canton Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Mary Jo Fishback.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 2 PM at Arnolds Funeral Home in Canton, Mo. with Pastors Olivia and Delbert Earlywine officiating with burial in the Monitcello Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4 until 8 PM with the family greeting friends after 6 PM at Arnolds Funeral Home in Canton.

Memorials may be made to the Monticello Cemetery or Lewis County Nursing Home Auxiliary
