Onawa, Iowa—Nicholas Scott Huffman, 19, of Onawa died Sunday, January 30, 2000.

Memorial services were Friday at First Christian Church in Onawa, with the Revs. Donald R. Ludwick and Brion P. Talzman officiating. Private burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Decatur, Nebraska.

Mr. Huffman was born February 3, 1980, in Sioux City, the son of Jerry and Deleta (Anderson) Huffman Jr. He graduated from West Monona High School in 1998. He then attended Iowa State University for one year.

He was employed at Denise's Café and McDonalds in Onawa and with Ayars and Ayars Construction in Omaha.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and football.

Survivors include his parents of Onawa, maternal grandmother, Judy Anderson and her special friend, Mike Marr of Decatur, Nebraska; paternal grandparents, Sharon and Jerry Huffman of Decatur; maternal great-grandmother, Grace Anderson of Decatur; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leon Anderson, and great-grandparents, Bert and Iva Kellogg, Greg and Joyce Teeters, Wallace Anderson and Jim and Sylvia Huffman.
