Mrs. Grace Shultz, widow of H. Ross Shultz and former well known Waynesburg resident, died at 3 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 1950, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Albert Springer, at Oakmont.
A daughter of the late Bowen and Adeline Stephens, she was born June 5, 1876, in Whiteley Township and lived all her life in Greene County until she left to make her home with her daughter. She was an active member of the First Methodist Church of Waynesburg and of the W.S.C.S. of the Church and was a faithful attendant at church and Sunday School while she lived here. She also taught for several years in the Worthwhile Bible Class of the local church.
She married H. Ross Shultz, who preceded her in death some years ago. She was the last of a family of nine children. Besides her daughter, Gladys, wife of J. Albert Soringer, of Oakmont, she leaves several nieces and nephews.
