Evelyn Nall Mellinger died at Washington Adventist Hosptial on February 10, 2010 after a brief illness. Mrs. Mellinger was a resident of Hyattsville, Md.

She was born June 24, 1922. Evelyn was the wife of James R. Mellinger and the daughter of Francis M. and Winifred Cornwell. She was the sister of Dorothy M. Thomas, Richard M. Cornwell and Douglas Lee (Little Dougie) Cornwell. Eveyln was the last living member of her beloved immediate family. Her mother "Winnie" Nall Weaver was from Culpeper County. Mrs. Mellinger is survived by six nephews and a host of grand nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service was held at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Md., followed by interment at the Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Gasch's Funeral Home of Hyattsville, Maryland.
