John T. Conner, 75, father of Mrs. Ione Starr of Olney, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. J.O. Jordan, near Newcastle. Services were held at the home with Rev. LaPrade, pastor of Graham Methodist Church officiating. Mr. Conner had been confined to bed most of the time since 1933. He moved to Young County with his family in 1906 and had been employed in stock raising and farming. He was a member of the Methodist church in Newcastle.
Surviving; his wife; Mrs. Elizabeth Conner; four daughters - Mrs. T.G. Wilkinson of Proffitt, Mrs. Harry Stooker of Lawton, OK, Mrs. J.O. Jordan of Newcastle, Mrs. Ione Starr of Olney; one son - Ray Conner.
