Clarence W. McCormick was a foreign service officer and auditor with the Maritime Commission. He was awarded a Purple Heart while attached to the 26th Army Division in W.W.I. He served as a vice consul in the foreign service from 1920 to 1923 in Cuba and Nova Scotia. He served as treasurer of the American Clan Gregor Society and was also a member of the Optimists Club of Hyattsville, Maryland.
