Ada J. Belz, 77, of Altoona died Friday at home.
She was born in Baltimore, Md., a daughter of Charles and Anne Fay (Earhart) Schneider. She married William E. Belz who preceded her in death in 1981.
Mrs. Belz was a member of First Church of Christ. She worked as a nurse in Baltimore.
Surviving are one son, Sean R. Belz of Altoona; a sister, Gertrude F. Deaton of Baltimore, Md.; and one granddaughter, Karli Belz of Altoona.
She also was preceded in death by brothers: James W. Schneider and John H. Schneider.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Santella Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, by Pastor Hud Cross. Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery.
