A delayed telegram was received here Thursday by Undertaker C C Rose, that his brother, Will Rose, of Huntington, had been drowned in the Ohio river near Ironton.
It seems from the meagre particulars available that Mr Rose had driven an automobile into a ferry boat. For some unknown cause he was unable to stop the car in time and it went over on the end of the boat, carrying Mr Rose with it. His body was recovered.
The telegram received here, had been delayed for 24 hours, but stated that the accident occurred Wednesday. The deceased was engaged in the garage business at Huntington. He was about 53 years of age.
Undertaker C C Rose left Thursday for Camp Creek, the old home place of the deceased, where interment will be made today.
