PELLA — Helen Louise Harsin Loynachan, 94 years young, of Pella and formerly of the Plymouth Community 7.5 miles east of Knoxville, died Jan. 30, 2006, at her home. Funeral services were held Feb. 3 at her home. Burial was at Breckenridge Cemetery, east of Knoxville on Feb. 3. Memorials may be made to the Breckenridge Cemetery or the Pella Christian Teaching Scholarship and may be sent to Sherrilyn Nikkel, 814 Brentwood Drive, Pella, IA 50219.

Helen Louise (nee Harsin) Loynachan was born Jan 3, 1912 to the parents of Gilbert Edward and Irena Arvilla nee Smith Harsin on the farm in Harvey, Iowa. She married David "Elton" Loynachan on the 25th of October in 1941, in Iowa. Helen had three children.
