Rev. Delos Hutchins was the son of John and Sarah (Olin) Hutchins Barnum. Sally (Barnum) Hutchins was his 1st wife. They were married April 20, 1826. Sally died May 5, 1844. Mary (Benham) Sawyer Hutchins was his 2nd wife. Mary died December 30, 1894. Rev. Hutchins was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference 1834 F 1837 East Genesee Conference at organization 1848 Central New York Conference by change of boundaries 1872 East Genesee Conference at reorganization and to Genesee Conference by consolidation 1876 Central New York Conference by change of boundaries 1880.
