Inez Buske of Rochester dies at 83

Inez W. Buske, 83, of 1530 Fourth Ave. N.W., a retired secretary, died this morning (Sept. 9, 1992) at home.

Inez W. Wenzel was born Aug. 25, 1909, in rural Oro-no-co, and graduated from Rochester High School. On Nov. 8, 1930, she married Ernest W. Buske, who was a carpenter. Mrs. Buske worked as a secretary in the Olmsted County Department of Social Services. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, a volunteer at Assisi Heights, and a substitute organist for many area churches.

Survivors include three sons, William G. of Parsons, Kan., and Richard W. and Donald L., both of Rochester; three daughters, Janet (Mrs. Alvin) Mathews of Douglas, Phyllis (Mrs. William) Marshall of Albuquerque, N.M., and Barbara (Mrs. Robert) Stuve of Rochester; 16 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Nina (Mrs. Otto) Schlee of Rochester. Her husband, two brothers and a great-grandchild preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Peace United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Carl Schroedel officiating. Burial will be in Oro-no-co Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ranfranz Funeral Home.
