KELLAWAY.--Bryan P. Kellaway, age 85, passed away at his home on Friday, March 12, 2010. He resided at 12218 Octagon Street in the Brentwood district of Los Angeles, California at the time of his death. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on March 6, 1925 but spent his early years in Australia. His father was a well-known character actor, CECIL KELLAWAY, and he moved his family to Los Angeles when Bryan was twelve. Bryan received his Bachelor's degree from Occidental College. He worked thirty-four years for US Borax starting in the Accounting Department and then Personnel. In his spare time he enjoyed playing piano & organ, listening to music, photography, gardening, and animals, especially dogs. He was a loving gentle man who will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His brother, Peter, predeceased him. He is survived by his companion John Alexenko and his sister-in-law Jo Anne Kellaway, three nieces and a nephew: David, Judi (Mason), Christina (Loescher), and Jaime. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Westwood, followed by interment at Pierce Brothers Memorial Park Cemetery, Westwood. A time of fellowship will be held following the interment in the Church Hall.
