OLD RAILROAD MAN IS DEAD.
Thomas E. King, 5_ years old, private secretary to J. C. Welling, vice president of the Illinois Central railroad, died suddenly at his home, 4201 Lake avenue, Chicago, on Wednesday night. He was found dead in bed in the morning by his wife. He had been in the employ of the railroad for some thirty years.

The funeral of Thomas E. King, secretary to Vice President J. C. Welling of the Illinois Central Railroad was held yesterday at his residence, 4201 Lake avenue. He had been connected with the Illinois Central in various positions of responsibility since 1883.
