Please note that the person maintaining Henry Duncan Bruner has a Bruner line that is NOT of our line.

Also note, that per her father's bible record attached here, her name is spelled JINCY, not Jency!!! And I see there is an erroneous bio for her husband Elias Bruner. Not only is Tarrant, spelled Tyrant, someone has added "Grant", and nowhere in any document that exists, is Grant attached to Jincy's name.
I have some of Henry's old handwritten letters. His spelling, grammar, vocabulary etc was immaculate!

Elias married Jincy Tarrant, sister of my 4th great grandmother Rebecca Tarrant McCurry, on 27 APR 1820 in Greene Co.,TN. Rebecca's daughter Polly McCurry (my 3rd great grandmother) married Elias' brother Samuel Newton Bruner(my 3rd great grandfather), the brother-in-law of her Aunt Jincy.

Jincy and Elias Bruner had the following children and all of the sons became Methodist ministers like their father:
Henry D. BRUNER b: 16 Mar 1821 in Monroe County, Indiana
Othniel BRUNER b: 13 Nov 1822 in Monroe County, Indiana
Margaret BRUNER b: 22 Aug 1826 in Monroe County, Indiana
William Bascome BRUNER b: 28 Jul 1827 in Monroe County, Indiana
John BRUNER b: 31 Oct 1828 in Monroe County, Indiana
Rebecca BRUNER b: 4 Oct 1831 in Monroe County, Indiana
Jacob L. BRUNER b: 27 Sep 1832 in Monroe County, Illinois
