1rst Son, 4th born of 9 children of Daniel B. & Mary (Long) Zellers. John was Grand Mal epileptic all his life subject to fits since age 3, he was later removed to Northern Illinois Hospital for the Insane in Elgin, where he served less than a month, John Fridley Zellers never married and was listed as a Laborer. He always lived with his parents until they retired and moved to Mount Morris City in 1891. He then lived with his sister Mary Jeanette Stine on the old Homestead until Sept. 1902.
