Rudolph H. Bush

The sudden death of Rudolph H. Bush, which occurred at the J.C. Blair Mrmorial hospital early Thursday morning, August 5, was a great shock to his family, friends and neighbors. Mr. Bush contracted pneumonia one week before he died and he was taken to the hospital Wednesday evening.
He was born in Juniata township, September 21, 1874, a son of Augustus H. Bush and Anna Catharine Bush, both deceased. He was united in marriage on July ??, 1918, to Mildred McCracken, of Donation. To this union were bon two children, Anna Catherine and Glen Augustus, both at home.
One brother, Christ Bush, of Huntingdon and two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Kelley, of Huntingdon, Mrs. Mary Heifner, of Kingsley, Iowa, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. Bush was a farmer all his life, and at the time of death was a farmer at the Shirleysburg County Home. He was affiliated with the Evangelical and Reformed church at Alexandria. Mr. Bush was always interested in his family and home and for the uplift of the community in which he lived. He made for himself a host of friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held from his late home at Shirleysburg on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by a former pastor of Alexandria. Burial will be made in Riverview cemetery. Dick's funeral service.
