PFC Harold Ezra Blaine died at his home in Claremont, NH on September 7, 1990 of an apparent heart attack. He was born on August 2, 1920 in Northfield, VT; the son of Frank and Dora (Parsons) Blaine.

He had lived in Claremont for fifty one years. He was a graduate of Northfield High School. He served in the U S Army Air Corp from July 14, 1942 to October 15, 1945. He retired in 1974 from Cone Blanchard Machine Co in Windsor, VT having worked as a machinist for six years. He previously worked for seventeen years at Vermont Research in North Springfield, VT and for seven year at the Joy Mfg Co in Claremont, NH. He was a member of the New Hampshire Antique Tractor Club.

He married Jennie Michelonick on February 2, 1947 in Claremont.

Surviving is his wife of Claremont; daughter Sandra Aiken of Claremont; three grandchildren; brother Frank "Buddy" Blaine of Claremont; three aunts, and three nieces.

Burial is in Mtn View Cemetery.
