Trust Company Founder Dead
Henry E. Bailey, 93, of 1826 S. George Washington Court, former owner and founder of Guarantee Title and Trust Co., now Guarantee Abstract Co. Inc. Wichita Plaza Building, died Wednesday.
Born in Illinois, he came to Wichita from Winfield, Kan., in 1915, when he founded the Guarantee Title and Trust Co. He was a member of College Hill Methodist Church and the Albert Pike Lodge.
Survivors include his widow, Maude; three daughters, Mrs. Hortense Hockett and Mrs. Maxine Pierce, both of Wichita, and Mrs. Elizabeth Woods, Dallas, Tex.; and a brother, Gordon, Minneapolis, Minn.
Byrd-Snodgrass Funeral Home East has charge.
