H. R. HICKS DEAD AT 74
Henry R. Hicks, 74, of 1008 E. Beddell, died Saturday in a Fort Worth hospital.
He was born in Garland and had lived in Fort Worth 26 years. He was a retired salesman and a member of Magnolia Avenue Christian Church.
Hicks is survived by his wife, Mary E. Hicks; two daughters, Miss Nancy Ann Hicks of Fort Worth and Mrs. Mary Lou Phillips of Mansfield; three brothers, John Haywood Hicks of Dallas, Joe Hugh Hicks of Lake Dallas and Jack Dabney Hicks of Maryland; six sisters, Mrs. Katherine Taylor of Arlington, Mrs. Mary Little, Miss Ada L. Hicks, Mrs. Virginia Roark and Mrs. Margaret Daniel of Dallas, and Mrs. Alma Salmons of Tate; and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Shannon's South Chapel with grave side services to be at 2:30 p.m. at Laurel Land in Dallas.
