Age 88, of Christiana, DE, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 26, 2010 surrounded by her family.

Born in Wilmington, DE, Catherine was the daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (Heisler) DePrisco. She was predeceased by her husband, Gennaro Semonelle; three sons, Eugene, Nicholas and Anthony Semonelle.

She will be missed by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanne and Francis Casey of Bear, Catherine and Robert Conaway of Newark, Lisa and Stephen Snyder with whom she lived, and Ann and Dennis Loose of Wilmington; 26 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren

The family wishes to thank Compassionate Care Hospice for their professional and kindhearted care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 30 11:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 345 Bear-Christiana Road, Bear, where friends are invited to visitation after 10 AM. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.

The family suggests contributions to Little Sisters of the Poor, 185 Salem Church Road, Newark, DE 19713.
