Graveside sevice for Margaret Roberts, 87, of Gainesville is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Eddie Chennault officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mrs. Roberts died Feb. 3, 2008, at Pecan Tree Manor.

She was born Feb. 11, 1920, in Gainesville to William B. and Irene Robbie Wright Gerneth. In April 1939, she married Winifred Moss in Marietta, Okla. Margaret Roberts was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Susan Moss of Lake Kiowa and Jim and Dana Moss of Woodbine; daughter, Dr. Judy Beaver of Whitesboro; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winifred Moss; her brothers, Ralph and Billy Jo Gerneth; her daughter, Diane Smothers; and a granddaughter.

No visitation is planned.
