Alma Christina Kusserow, age 85, Wittenberg, died Thursday, May 21, 1992 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg.

She was born April 11, 1907 in the town of Elderon, the daughter of the late Arne and Carrie (Hansen) Ringstad.

On March 14, 1929 Alma was united in marriage to Harold Kusserow in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1984.

Survivors includes two daughters, Betty (Gordon) Fairbert, Fredonia, WI and Nancy (Waller) Heck, Hamilton, Ohio; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Alma was preceded in death by three brothers, including Edward Ringstad and Alfred Ringstad and three sisters, Agnes Oddy, Clara Gillogey and Nellie Kaufman.

Funeral services were held May 24, 1992 at the Homme Home Chapel, Wittenberg. The Rev. Martin Shimko and Rev. Roger McAbee officiated. Interment was in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Wittenberg.
