"Antoinette Schermerhorn, maiden name was "Lasak" not Lessac. Her father was Francis W Lasak, and her mother was Harriett Lasak. Francis was a partner of John Jacob Astor's fur business and was fairly well off and before his death became a millionaire.
Her father Francis and mother Harriet fought one day and Francis hit Harriett and threw her out of his home, Antoinette Lasak defended her mother and Francis
threw her out too. Francis and his daughter never reconciled even after the death of her mother Harriett.
Antoinette married Rev. John Williams Schermerhorn, son of Rev Cornelius Daniels Schermerhorn 1776 - 1827 and Katy Brandow Schermerhorn 1776 - 1827
Francis only left Antoinette $30,000 in his will when he died and she contested his will."

Only one badly eroded stone stands on this lot. It appears that only the front of the stone was ever inscribed. The name "Rev. Henry O. Schermerhorn" is barely discernible on the front.
