DEATH: MAYLON SINCLAIR BOWERS

Maylon Sinclair Bowers, age 89, passed away January 3, 1997 in Nephi, Utah.
He was born July 10, 1907 in Nephi, Utah to Abraham James and Christina Sinclair Bowers. He married Eudora Nielson March 8, 1928; marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple March 8, 1935. She died December 27, 1994.Maylon worked as a farmer for the Forest Service, as a game warden, and at the Nephi Rubber Plant, retiring in 1962. He always loved hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He served in the U.S. Army for two years.
Survived by his children, Kenneth (Frankie) Bowers; Betty (Ramon) Wilkey, all of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Leona Mangelson of St. George; and Joey Johnson of American Fork; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 1997, in the Nephi LDS 5th Ward, 345 East 500 North. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.mm. at the Anderson Funeral Home, and at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial, Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi.
