Arthur Clarence Linehan, 81, a native of Genesee, died at Gritman Hospital Sunday.

Linehan, a retired farmer, married Catherine Cunningham in Genesee on Jan. 1907.

He was a member of Genesee Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, founder of Genesee Producer Co., director of Genesee Union Warehouse, organizer and director of Inland Empire Pea Grower Assn., and director of North Pacific Grain Growers.

Surviving is the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Vincent Carter of Beaverton, Ore., Mrs. Catherine Lavery of Spokane, and Mrs. William Crescenti of Chicago; two sons, Donald and Ralph both of Genesee; a sister Mrs. Nann Mourning of Spokane, a brother, John Linehan of Spokane; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Rosary will be recited at Genesee Catholic Church Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. with services Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. The Ref. Fr. B. McCarthy will officiate. Burial will be in Genesee Catholic Cemetery with Short's Chapel in charge.
