Moved to Yakima at age 8 yrs. with his parents. He gradutated Yakima High School & attended Yakima Valley Junior College. He was an active orchardist, fruit packer, shipper and warehouseman. He founded Max A. Judy Hauling Service in 1945 & purchased a processing fruit buying firm in 1970. He purchased Herrett Trucking in 1976 and served as president. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He was active in Elks, Kiwanis, YMCA and several more organizations.
