Cordia Varble Jackson died on December 30, 1982 two weeks shy of her 90th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Edward Jackson on July 14, 1958. She is survived by her children, James Owen Jackson, Bedford, Mary Verna Jackson, Bedford, Lavenia Thomas, Clinton, Iowa, Emmett Grqaham Jackson, Madison, Indiana, and William Aubrey Jackson, Milton. Also one sister Effie Nysha Varble Jackson, Milton, one brother, Charles Chancellor Varble, Vevay, Indiana and fourteen grandchildren.
