Frank J. Tuley, 77, of the Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 3327 Chestnut, died at 11:15 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 3, 1977) in Blessing Hospital. He had been a resident of the home for six years. Mr. Tuley was born near Kahoka, Mo., April 11, 1900, a son of Samuel John and Elizabeth Jane Armstrong Tuley. He married Mary Henderson in Canton, Mo. in April 1923. He was a postal telegraph company employee for 40 years. He first worked in Hannibal, later was transferred to Quincy and retired in 1963 from Western Union in Springfield. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Surviving are the wife; a brother, Ernest Tuley of Lewistown, Mo. He was preceded in death by three sisters. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Funeral Home. The Rev. James H. Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Adams County Heart Association.
