She was born May 20, 1890, in Franklin Township, the daughter of Irvin and Sarah Zook Lippencott.
Mrs. Nichols lived most of her life at Waynesburg, and she spent the last several years at Morrisville.
She was a member of the Morrisville Methodist Church.
Her husband, Furman M. Nichols, died October 2, 1955.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Marcheta) Barnes, of Waynesburg, R. D. 3; two sons, Kenneth A. Nichols, of Jefferson, and C. Clifford Nichols, at home; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
One sister and four brothers are deceased.
