Verna Mae Colclasure, 87, of Olney, formerly of Flora, died at 10:15 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2010, at Richland Care & Rehab in Olney.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Elwood Cemetery in Flora with Pastor Paul Goss officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Flora. There will be no visitation. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Flora is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Colclasure was born on March 4, 1923, in Flora.
She had done factory work.
Ms. Colclasure is survived by two sisters, Lorene "Patsy" Ritter, Olney, and Ilene Taylor, Olney; several nieces and nephews, Lana Stone and her husband, Ray, of Decatur, Louis Colclasure and his wife, Mary, of Courtland, Miss., Jacqueline Colclasure, Escondido, Calif., Steven Colclasure and his wife, Joan, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jamie Colclasure, of Mesa, Arizona, Ruth Ann Lake, of Mesa, Arizona, Bridget Colclasure, of South Carolina, Matthew Colclasure, of South Carolina, Christine Franck, of Olney, Mary Louise VanDrie and her husband, Leroy, of Independence, Mo., Katherine Murphy and her husband, Dallas, of Olney, Captain Chaplin John Ritter and his wife, Bonnie, of Shreveport, La.; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Richard, Louis and Calvin.
