Mary Cathrine (Crawford) Combs was the wife of Robert Martin Combs and the daughter of Newton C. F. Susan (Long) Crawford.

Obituary from the Grand Prairie newspaper:
Mrs. M.C. Combs Died Sunday at Oak Cliff

Mrs. M.C. Combs, age 66 years, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. R. G. Maxwell, on North Ewing street, last Sunday afternoon at 6 o'clock, following an illness of several weeks.

Mrs. Combs was well known in this city where she resided for the last fifty years, with the exception of the past two years she was home with her daughter in Oak Cliff.

She is survived by three children her husband having passed away several years ago. The surviving children are Mrs. B. G. Combs of Oak Cliff, Mrs. Cora Halford of Dallas and M.E. Combs of this city.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Fugate cemetary (sic), Rev. ?field of Dallas reading the services.

Another obituary for Mary Cathrine Crawford Combs (I believe from Dallas Newspaper):
COMBS, ---Mrs. Mary Combs, 56 years old, died at her residence, 101 North Ewing street, at 6 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The body is being held by Lamar & Smith Undertaking Company pending funeral arrangements. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Cora Halford and Mrs. Laura Bell Maxwell of Dallas and Marvin Combs of Grand Prairie, and a brother, R. O. Crawford of Grand Prairie.

The above obituary gives her age as 56 but it should be 66. I wanted to type it as it was written
