Mrs Hinson was a daughter of Arthur Downs and Laura Curtis Chapman. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Hinson was the mother of thesouthern gospel group the Original Hinsons. Survivors
include her sons, Calvin Hinson of Blacksburg, Va, Ronny
Hinson and Dr. Larry Hinson both of Goodlettsville TN, and Harold Hinson of Hohenwald, TN; daughters, Teddi Hinson-Knowles of Madison, Tn, Barbara Harper of Abilene TX and Yvonne Johnson of White House, TN; 20 Grandchildgen, 36 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Frances and son, Kenny Hinson.
