On Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 8:20 am, Leo L."Boze" Jewell, 67 of Grover Hill, took his last breath and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is now walking the streets of gold with his Savior.
He was born October 8, 1942 in Paulding to the late Lester Leo and Mildred (Slattman) Jewell. Surviving is son: Timothy (Jeannie) Jewell of Grover Hill; 2 special granddaughters: Jessica Louise Jewell and Michelle Autumn Jewell; 2 sisters: Shirley Schaffer of Grover Hill and Patsy Knox of Challmette, LA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister: Virginia Jewell
Mr. Jewell worked at Porter's Auction, Grover Hill. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Grover Hill and Flat Rock Creek Festival. He was a US Army veteran.
Funeral service will begin 11:00 am Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Auglaize Chapel Church of God, Oakwood with Pastor Patrick Holt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites by the Grover Hill VFW.
