Ruby Wilcoxson, 69, of St. Joseph, MO., passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009 at her home after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
Ruby was born June 8, 1940 in Andrew County, Missouri to Ora and Dovie Price.
She lived in St. Joseph most of her life where she was a member of Central Christian Church and worked in the Circuit Court at the Buchanan County Courthouse.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Frankie Wilcoxson of the home; three sons and spouses, Rickie and Kim, Clarksdale, MO; Terry and Tatia, Rosendale, MO; and Timmie Wilcoxson and Lisa, St. Joseph; two daughters, Cindy Reeder and husband Kyle, Savannah, MO; and Penny Wilcoxson, St. Joseph; one brother, Robert Price, Cosby, MO; two sisters, Lois Steiner, Forsythe, MO; and Judy Davison, St. Joseph; and ten grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Clark-Sampson Funeral Home with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Kendallwood Hospice.
