Lucy Bennett, 74, Keno, died Sept. 19, 2000, of natural causes in Klamath Falls.

Mrs. Bennett was born in Tulsa county, Oklahoma to Robert and Exie (Martin) Bennett. She worked for many years as a waitress at Vallier's Cafe in Klamath Falls and also worked for a number of years as a checker at a Safeway Store in Klamath Falls. She enjoyed camping, gardening, crocheting, and fishing. Mrs. Bennett attended Open Bible Church in Keno.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley Bennett of Keno, son, Phillip Bennett of Eugene, daughter, Billie Koger of Klamath Falls; daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Don Kinkade of Crescent City, Calif., and Barbara and Marvin Yunck and Phyllis and Jack Hayes of Keno; brothers, Tom Bennett of Oroville, Calif., and Robert Bennett of Washington; sisters, Audrey Burns of Oklahoma, Patsy Adams on Canyonville, and Virginia Midley of Susanville, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Aubrey, Tony and Billy; sister, Reba; and granddaughter, Tamara Redwell.
