VILMURE, Philip, passed away peacefully May 4, 2010, in the home in

which he had lived for fifty plus years. He is the husband of Joanne; father of Kathy, Judy, David, Eddie, Liz, Mary and Danny; father-in-law of Belinda, Carl and Cat; and grandpa of Philip, Jacob and Nikki. He was born in Assumption, Ill., December 17, 1931, the only child of Philip and Stasia, who predeceased him. After his Korean War-era deployment as a survival trainer in the Nevada desert, he married Margaret Joanne Flaherty, his hometown sweetheart. They moved to Florida in 1957. With his father, he opened the Prof Auto Beauty Shop; and with Joanne, he started a family. He umpired at Fair Oaks Little League and was active in Saint Patrick' s Parish. He eventually joined Ferman Motorcar Co. and worked more than 20 years in the professional sales and sales management field. A funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, May 10, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Tampa. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior.
