His hobbies were watchmaking, fishing and spinning stories. C.P. loved his family and spent much of his day visiting and enjoying his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He took special delight in all family traditions and gatherings.
He was preceded in death on September 15, 1970, by his son, Charles Amon "Charlie" Worsham, age 23. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marion Louise Hawkins to whom he was married on April 28, 1946; daughters and sons-in-law Belinda and Dan Bryant of Dallas, and Vickie and Roger Brown of Hogansville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother Joe Worsham of Forest Park.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2009, 2PM, at Davis-Struempf Chapel, with Rev. Ron Daniel officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
