She died from a ruptured liver and pneumonia, as the results of a motor vehicle accident on October 27, 1935 in the 2400 Blk of S Flores St in San Antonio.
She was further survived by a daughter, Dorothy M Barrow, 10 years of age, living with Pearl's mother. Dorothy was the offspring of Marvin "Buck" Barrow, noted outlaw of the great depression, from whom Pearl was divorced.
