Final Rites Held Tuesday Afternoon for Rev. Cargal
The Rev. J.H. Cargal, age 79, passed away in an Atlanta Hospital Monday moring at 6:30. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Tina Cargal, of Dalton; three daughters, Mrs. Clarice Allmon and Mrs. Leona Holliday, both of Dalton, and Miss Jewell Cargal of Dalton and Chattanooga; four sons, J.Frank Cargal of Dalton, Arch J. Cargal, Tren L. Cargal and DeForrest Cargal, all of High Point, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Floyd and Mrs. Emma Forrester, both of Rome; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 from the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The Rev. A.B. Couch officiated and burial was made in West Hill Cemetery.
