Lawrence was the son of Lawrence E. Creamer and Etta Ann Madison.

He was married to Norma Jean Monahan on 15 Jun 1946 in Madison Co., IN.

They had three children:
Deborah L. Creamer (Satterfield),
Keith Creamer and
Neil Creamer.

LAWRENCE E. CREAMER JR.

Lawrence E. Creamer Jr., 90, Elwood, went to be with the Lord on Oct 13, 2009 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born Oct 30, 1918 in Summitville.

He was married to Norma Jean Monahan June 15, 1946.

He retired in 1984 from Delco Remy in Anderson and formerly worked at Dietzen's Bakery and Wick's Lumber Company in Elwood.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army 1st Infantry Division field artillery units in North Africa and Italy.

He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 662 in Anderson, East Main Street Christian church in Elwood and the First Missionary Baptist Church in Elwood. He enjoyed flying airplanes, playing the organ, fishing and NASCAR racing.

Survivors include three children, Keith and wife, Sandy Creamer of Gaston, Debra and husband, Larry Satterfield of Elwood and Neal and wife, Rhonda Creamer of Tipton; 10 grandchildren, 12 1/2 great-grandchildren, special friend, Doris Orbaugh of Elwood;
and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence E. and Etta Ann (Madison) Creamer Sr; his wife, Norma Jean Monahan Creamer, who died March 26, 1992, Five brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, Oct 17, 2009 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral
Home, with the Rev. Roger Gardner of the East Main Street Christian Church officiating. Burial will take place in the Elwood City Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Elwood VFW Honor Guard and the U.S. Military at the cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the East Main Street Christian Church, 1801 Main St., Elwood, Ind. 46036.
