Frances Belle was the third daughter of John May and Lucy Bill Hickman Kellogg.
She was born 5 March 1885 in Las Animas, Colorado where she lived with her family until Grandfather moved them to Cripple Creek Colorado in 1893.

They lived in Cripple Creek until 1897 then moved to Florisant, Colorado where they lived a short time moving on to Lake George either in 1898 or 1899. She lived there until it was time to further her education and was sent to Colorado Springs where she lived with Grandfather's brother, Francis Newlands Kellogg, finishing her High School and College education.

While in Colorado Springs she met Winfred Weisman Goodlive and on 25 July 1906 they were married. They lived only briefly in Colorado Springs after their marriage, moving on to Palo Alto California sometime in 1907 where they lived their lives out.

They had three children born in Palo Alto.:
1. Winfred Glenn Goodlive

Died: 12 November 1977 in Seattle, Washington
2. Clara Belle Goodlive
Born: 6 September 1910
Died: 3 July 1976 in Mountain View, California
3. Russell Kellogg Goodlive
Born: 15 November 1912
Died: 17 March 1991
They also raised the two daughters of their son, Glenn, from the age of two to three years of age to adult when they married.
Glenn's oldest daughter, Ellen Annette Frances Goodlive was born 22 July 1928 in Palo Alto, Santa Clara, California and died 25 February 2013 in Chico, Butte, California, United State near her children. She had 7 children all alive at this time.
His youngest daughter Martha Lucille born 29 October 1929 in Palo Alto, California passed away 20 February 2007 in Sunnyvale, California. She had 3 Children all alive at this time.

Aunt Frankie was an Adult Education Teacher, teaching typing and shorthand night classes at the Palo Alto High School for years, retiring in 1950 She was a member of the California Retired Teachers Association.

When they first moved to Palo Alto they lived at 125 Webster Street in a little cottage that they purchased. They lived there till around 1926 at which time Uncle Winfred bought a 5 story house. He had the top three stories of the house moved and installed at 1128 Webster Street where, when it was completed they moved in and remained. Uncle Winfred until his death 31 July 1963 and Aunt Frankie until it got too much for her to care for.

She lived with me for only three months then her youngest grand-daughter, Lucille, took her to live with her in Sunnyvale California. She lived with her until a short while before she died at which time she was moved to the Sunnyvale Convalescent Hospital Resthome just a couple blocks away where she died on 9 November 1969.

She was buried at Alta Mesa Memorial Park as most of our family is.
