Harvey K. "Kenny" Parker, 77,

Harvey PARKER of Lake Delhi, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, in his home following a sudden illness. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory in Manchester. Inurnment will be at a later date in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. There will be no services.

He was born Aug. 25, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo., to Harvey and Clara (Kobusch) Parker.

He graduated from high school in Cedar Rapids. Harvey served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952.

Harvey was united in marriage to Helen Zbanek on June 21, 1951. She died Nov. 13, 1977.

He married Virginia Parker on Dec. 5, 1980, in Cedar Rapids.

He worked at Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids for 42 years and retired in August 1990 to Lake Delhi. He was a past president of the Delhi Lions.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia; his daughter, Debbie (Bill) Humphreys, Lake Delhi; his son, Steve Parker (friend Pam), Ames; stepchildren, Mike (Mary) Porter, California, Dawn (John) Dorsett, Seattle, Wash., and Gregg (Lori Yoshinaga) Porter, Seattle, Wash.; grandchildren, Kelly, Chaz, Cavin, Tara, Sara, Chris and Zach; sisters, Lorene (Carroll) Miskimen, Cedar Rapids, and Birdella (Albert) Linkenback, Cedar Rapids; a brother, Forrest (Joanne) Parker, Cedar Rapids; and nieces and nephews.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and an infant son.

Memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous of Iowa.
