Son of William Andrew Jackson Hughes and Rhoda Gilbert. He was briefly married to Mildred Joyce McGuire. Uncle Reagan may have had no children but loved his nieces and nephews. I remember his laughter. I believe the name on the gravestone to be mispelled. Mama said his name was spelled like President Reagan's name and I have further found during my genealogical search that his paternal grandmother's maiden name was Reagan, Rebecca Elizabeth Reagan McCasland. He also had an uncle that died at 3 who was named James Reagan Hughes.
