Daughter of John Rufus Starr Meek (1); wife of Eugene Long, one-time president of Lyons College in Batesville, Arkansas.


She was my mother's aunt that received Mary Lema Watson Meek into her Batesville home to insure good medical delivery of my mother Sarah... who we call to this day, Sallie.....Thank you great aunt Sallie.. !!! I passed on your Sarah name to my daughter.
