Blanche Denson Jones, age 96, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at her niece's home in New Orleans, La. She was a resident of Detroit, Michigan for many years until moving to New Orleans, La. in 2005. She was a retired school teacher for Michigan Public Schools system, where she taught for 33 years. Daughter of the late J. G. and Mary Neely Denson. Preceded in death by 5 sisters and 4 brothers. Survivors include great-nieces and nephews: Rita (Keith) Shelling, Gloria (Bobby) Preston, Sylvia, Cynthia and Claudia Denson, Anthony (Soulette), Antonio, Larry and Lucius Denson Jr. She also leaves a host of great-nieces and -nephews in Florida
