Mary Jane Burch (Sometimes known as "Jennie") was born Mar 17 1867 in Monroe County, Indiana. She was the daughter of William Burch and Susan Storm. Her father, William, was a farmer. Her mother had at least eleven pregnancies, but only seven of the children survived infancy. Jennie was the oldest surviving daughter.
