Clement A. Hurley is the son of John T. Hurley and Anna C. McTigue.

Clement married first to Georgiana Curry, daughter of U.S. Grant Curry and Martha Elizabeth Curry (nee Fritz). Georgiana, known as Georgie, died in 1953. She is the mother of his daughters.

Obituary dated February 19, 1962:
Clement A. Hurley, 59, of 7337 McClure Ave., Swissdale, died Friday. Born in Tarentum, he was employed by the Seaview Country Club, Absecon, N.J. He had been ill for some time. Surviving are his wife, Helen Madigan Hurley; two daughters, Eileen and Mary Lou Hurley, both at home, three brothers, the Rev. George Hurley of Sewickley; Raymond Hurley of Philadelphia, and Clarence Hurley of Butler; and two sisters, Catherine Hurley of Atlantic City, N.J., and Mrs. Margaret Dildone of Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received at the Neid Funeral Home, 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrrow from St. Anseim`s Roman Catholic Church, Swissvale. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh.

Clement is a twin to his brother Clarence.
